Our mission at Pool Authority is to provide exceptional custom pool designs, restorations, and service in the greater Tampa Bay area and throughout Florida. Through professionalism, top-level customer appreciation and support we create a unique pool environment for residential and commercial customers providing each with their own style of an oasis.

CEO
John P. Skop
John P. Skop was born in New York and moved to Florida at a young age. His passion for swimming pools began shortly after graduating from high school in Tampa with jobs at local pool companies. Shortly after college he created a maintenance and repair company, which later evolved into Bay Area Pool Authority. His love and passion for building swimming pool leads to his passion for creating an oasis for all customers. His wife, a native to Tampa and graduate from the University of Miami, and John continue to raise their family in the Tampa Bay neighborhood and are active within the community and the Florida business economy.
Office Manager
Mark Celaya-Renaud
Mark Celaya-Renaud was born in California and moved to Florida after college to explore better business opportunities. While working in the local Tampa Bay community, he met and later married his husband, a native of Saint Petersburg and a local small business owner. They continue to reside in the St. Pete community contributing greatly to both the LGBT and the Tampa Bay community at large.
